.
A bunch of new faces were added to the cast of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire this week, so read on for details about who they are and what roles they’ll be playing when we return to Panem next year.

.
Meta Golding has been cast as Enobaria, a former Hunger Games winner from District 2 who won her games in a shockingly brutal and violent way. She’s certainly no friend to Katniss and the rest of our heroes during the Quarter Quell. Golding has been steadily working in TV for over twenty years, guest starring on shows like “CSI”, “Burn Notice”, and the cancelled-too-soon ABC series “Day Break.”
.
Patrick St. Esprit (far right) will play Romulus Thread, the man who becomes Head Peacekeeper of District 12. He’ll do whatever is necessary to make sure the Capitol’s rules are enforced as a rebellion starts to simmer among the people of the land. St. Esprit has been around the block a few times too, working in films like Super 8 and on shows like “Sons of Anarchy” and “The Chicago Code.”
.
Bruno Gunn (middle) has been cast as the similarly-named Brutus, a District 2 former Games winner who enters the ring again during the Quarter Quell (the 75th Annual Hunger Games). He attempts to form alliances with Katniss and Peeta after seeing Katniss’s skills with a bow and arrow, but Katniss doesn’t trust him. Gunn has had small roles in shows like “Prison Break”, “The Office”, and “Sons of Anarchy” and starred in the 2011 film Bad Teacher.
.
Alan Ritchson will play the role of Gloss, another former Games winner from District 1. Gloss competes in the Quarter Quell with his sister, Cashmere. He kills a certain member of Katniss’s crew, but I won’t dare spoil it for those who haven’t caught up on the books yet. As an actor, Ritchson played Aquaman on “Smallville” and starred in the Spike TV series “Blue Mountain State” as well as the cheerleading film “Fired Up!”
.
E. Roger Mitchell (far left) has secured the role of Chaff, the District 11 tribute who won the 45th Annual Hunger Games and who returns to the arena to compete in the Quarter Quell. Chaff lost his hand in the 45th games, but refused to have a prosthetic replacement installed. He’s a part of the rebellion, and allies himself with Katniss and the rest of the good guys in Catching Fire. Mitchell has appeared in Battle: Los Angeles, The Crazies, and S.W.A.T.
.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire arrives in theaters on November 22nd, 2013.
.
Synopsis: THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.
.
THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE will be directed by Francis Lawrence, and produced by Nina Jacobson’s Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik. The novel on which the film is based is the second in a trilogy that has sold more than 50 million books in print and digital in the U.S. alone.
